CHEFS AT IL CASONE
We are proud, that since many years renowned top chefs visit our estate, to demonstrate their skill and art form at cooking.
Until now we could welcome here at Il Casone:
Alfons Schubeck (Munich), one of the most famous German TV chef, Schmankerl-Kini vom Münchner Plazl (king of the Bavarian specialities) and a messiah of the German regional cuisine (1 Michelin-Star).
Michael Hoffmann (Berlin), „Father“ of the Cuisine Avantgarde Classique, a new way of cooking vegetables , far away from the vegetarian amateurism. (1 Michelin-Star).
Andrea Mattei (Chiusdino), representative of the modern Tuscan cuisine, that he enhanced using for example elements of the Nordisk Mad (1 Michelin-Star).
Aele Cabbidu (Seravezza), a Sardinian in the Tuscany, worked before as the private chef of fashion designer Valentino Garavani, who combines solidity in crafts with Sovereignty of personal style in his Taverne Le Gradole.
Zaiyu Hasegawa (Tokio), „creativity machine“ of the modern Japanese cuisine, genuine, original and brave in the selection of the ingredients and every detail in preparation. (2 Michelin-Stars).
Cristoforo Trapani (Forte dei Marmi), one of the few truly, since he isn’t self proclaimed, top chefs of the Versilia, serves in the restaurant Magnolia (Hotel Byron) a regional cuisine of expressive down-to-earthness (1 Michelin-Star).
Yoshinoro Tezuka (Tokio), belongs to the elite of the Japanese sushi-masters. His experimental interpretation of the traditional Edo-sushi convinced also the guests of Terra Madre – Salone del Gusto 2016 in Turin.
